PS Plus May 2026: Red Dead Redemption 2, Star Wars Outlaws

PS Plus Extra in May 2026 adds Red Dead Redemption 2, Star Wars Outlaws, Bramble, The Thaumaturge and Broken Sword Reforged; Premium’s featured title is Time Crisis.

Sony confirmed the May 2026 additions to PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium. PS Plus Extra will include Red Dead Redemption 2, Star Wars Outlaws, Bramble: The Mountain King, The Thaumaturge, and Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars Reforged. PS Plus Premium’s featured title for May is Time Crisis. The new entries will be available to subscribers throughout May 2026.

PS Plus Extra is the mid-tier subscription that offers a rotating catalogue of PS4 and PS5 games. PS Plus Premium includes legacy game access and cloud-streaming options in addition to monthly featured titles.

Red Dead Redemption 2, released in 2018, is an open-world action game with single-player and online components. Star Wars Outlaws is an open-world action title that recorded lower-than-expected sales after its release. Bramble: The Mountain King is an independent adventure game built around atmospheric exploration and narrative. The Thaumaturge is a role-playing game that has attracted a smaller audience since launch. Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars Reforged is a modernized edition of the classic point-and-click adventure reconstructed for current hardware. Time Crisis is an arcade-style rail shooter originally associated with light-gun arcade cabinets.

Sony has continued the recent pattern of featuring a single Premium title each month rather than adding multiple new Premium exclusives. Extra’s May additions include a previously released blockbuster, a recent franchise entry with weaker commercial performance, an indie narrative title, an RPG with a niche audience, and a remastered classic.

Sony included a poll with the announcement asking subscribers whether they are satisfied with the May lineup. The poll accompanies the monthly update and gives members a way to register their response; comment sections and community forums often show player reactions after the announcement.
