Dragon’s Dogma 2 Title Update 3.1 arrives on PS5

Capcom released Dragon’s Dogma 2 Title Update 3.1 on PS5 on June 10, 2026 (≈550MB), adding an Eternal Ferrystone, new Portcrystals, a Guardian pawn role and multiple QoL, UI and shop changes.

Capcom issued Title Update 3.1 for Dragon’s Dogma 2 on PS5 on June 10, 2026. The patch is about 550MB and introduces an Eternal Ferrystone, several new Portcrystals, a Guardian pawn specialization and a range of quality‑of‑life, UI and shop adjustments. The update precedes the Dark Arisen expansion due in October and follows a promised second major update scheduled for the end of August focused on performance and combat adjustments.

Fast travel and movement adjustments include the new Eternal Ferrystone, which is granted automatically after speaking to Brant during the Seat of the Sovran quest or added to inventories for players who have already completed that quest. New Portcrystals were added at Melve, Checkpoint Rest Town and the Volcanic Island Camp, and a Portcrystal was added as a reward for the Monster Culling quest or placed in the inventories of players who finished it. Oxcart stopovers now appear on the mini map, the time until the Doze Off command while riding an oxcart has been reduced, and oxcarts operate from morning until evening. Outside combat, dashing consumes less stamina and loading from an autosave after defeat no longer increases the loss gauge. The update also improves the stats of some equipment found in dungeons.

User interface and customization changes add a free camera to Photo Mode and new toggles to hide head armor and to hide visible patterns on wyrmfire‑strengthened gear. The Button Mapping option labelled Set to “Examine” Only was clarified. Players can now stop unhired pawns from approaching to offer services and can disable pawns’ celebratory high fives. The map lets players use a Ferrystone by moving the cursor to a Portcrystal, the player icon visibility on the map was improved, and the game now notifies players if a camping kit is destroyed in an ambush. The patch prevents buying more of an item than a player can carry, adds an hourglass icon to timed quests, ensures priority quest progress displays correctly after loading, allows multiple item types to be transferred at once between the Arisen and pawns, and moves the Art of Metamorphosis to the top of the Pawn Guild Vendor list.

The new Guardian pawn specialization enables pawns to prevent oxcart raids while accompanying the Arisen, repel smaller attackers at camps and reduce the health of larger foes before the player arrives. The Guardian’s Tome can be purchased from the Nameless Apothecary in the Nameless Village or obtained as a reward for the quests Claw Them Into Shape and Readvent of Calamity; players who already completed those quests will find the item in their inventories. A tutorial for the Guardian specialization was added. Pawn movement was adjusted to reduce accidental cliff falls, and pawns now recover more stamina for the Arisen when they assist exhausted players.

Shop and reward tuning reduced inn fees in Melve, the Excavation Site, Nameless Village, Borderwatch Outpost, Vernworth and Harve Village, lowered barber service prices, and cut the price of a fueled lantern from 1,000 G to 800 G. Ferrystones in Normal Mode now cost 5,000 G instead of 10,000 G, and the sale price for Ferrystones was changed from 99 G to 900 G. The patch also altered treasure chest contents and some enemy drops, and increased rewards, mainly gold, for selected quests.

Other adjustments replace monotype fonts, change the loading screen to display gameplay tips instead of quest progress, update the autosave loading tutorial, add a tutorial for the minimap “!” symbol, and tweak camera angles near Portcrystals and when returning from zoomed views. The Hollow Cape was added to Celeste’s Smithy in Checkpoint Rest Town. Capcom lists additional bug fixes and the full patch notes on the game’s official Dragon’s Dogma 2 website.
