Retail listing suggests Kingdom Hearts 4 May launch in 2027

An Australian retailer’s product page for the Kingdom Hearts Collection lists KINGDOM HEARTS IV with a 2027 release year. The listing appeared after the game’s surprise appearance at Nintendo Direct; Square Enix has not confirmed a release date.

The product description says the compilation is intended to let players experience the full series ahead of Kingdom Hearts IV and highlights a lower price point aimed at new and returning players. The page lists only the year and does not include a month or day.

Nintendo Direct confirmed the game and announced it will launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 at the same time as other platforms, but the presentation gave no release window.

Retail listings sometimes include placeholder dates that are changed when a publisher issues an official schedule. Neither Square Enix nor Nintendo has published a statement that confirms the 2027 date shown on the Australian page.

Kingdom Hearts is a long-running action-RPG collaboration between Square Enix and Disney, with mainline entries and spin-offs released across multiple console generations. Interest in the fourth mainline game rose after its reveal at Nintendo Direct.

If Square Enix provides an official release date, retailers are likely to update product pages and pre-order listings. For now, the Australian product page is the only retail source showing 2027 as the release year.
