Hotel Barcelona coming to Nintendo Switch 1 and 2 - ps5.news

Hotel Barcelona will arrive on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 as a $34.99 complete package that includes all DLC and post-launch updates, Eden Industries confirmed, with a release “coming soon”.

Eden Industries will publish Hotel Barcelona for Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2 as a $34.99 complete package. The bundle includes the base game, the Late Check-Out DLC and every gameplay update released since the title’s September 2025 launch, including the March 2026 Under New Management overhaul. No physical edition has been announced; the publisher noted it will provide further details later.

The Switch editions will support online cooperative and competitive features. Standard play allows one to three players, invasion sequences can include up to four players, and a PvP invasion mode is included, according to the developers.

Earlier this month, Kadokawa confirmed Elden Ring and The Duskbloods coming to Switch 2 in 2026.

Hotel Barcelona is a side-on action roguelite created by Hidetaka “SWERY” Suehiro and Goichi “SUDA51” Suda. Players control U.S. Marshal Justine Bernstein, whose mind is possessed by the serial killer Dr. Carnival, and must survive a shifting hotel filled with traps, killers and monstrous threats.

The game uses a layered progression system in which failed runs return as armed “Slasher Phantoms” that can fight alongside the player in future attempts. The March 2026 Under New Management update reworked balance, progression and presentation across the title.

The game launched in September 2025 to mixed reviews and held a Metacritic score of 58 at the time of the Switch announcement. Publisher materials state that Steam user reviews have moved more positive since the March overhaul; the platform lists 13 Very Positive user reviews and 257 Mixed reviews.

Late Check-Out will be included in the Switch complete package. The developers stated, “Both the base game and the Late Check-Out DLC do not have AI-generated content.” The publisher added it will share platform-specific timing and any physical release information when available.
