Kadokawa Confirms Elden Ring, The Duskbloods for Switch 2
Kadokawa says FromSoftware’s Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition and new title The Duskbloods are expected for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, per the company’s fiscal year earnings report.
Kadokawa’s earnings report for the fiscal year ended March 2026 says FromSoftware’s Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition and The Duskbloods are slated for release on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
The report states: “FromSoftware is expected to contribute with ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition, as well as The Duskbloods (both slated for a 2026 release for Nintendo Switch 2), a completely new title. We will work to further expand the fan base globally.”
Kadokawa did not provide specific launch dates or seasonal windows beyond the 2026 calendar year.
The company previously listed the same 2026 window in its Q3 2025/26 update, and the latest filing repeats that timing.
There have been online reports of an eShop listing and promotional material for The Duskbloods; the earnings report is the clearest confirmation from Kadokawa to date.
Kadokawa is the parent company of FromSoftware. The earnings document links the planned Switch 2 releases to the publisher’s effort to expand the developer’s global audience. The filing included no technical specifications, pricing details, marketing plans or confirmation of other platforms.
