IO Interactive estimates the main campaign for 007 First Light will run about 20 hours. A content creator who spoke with the game’s gameplay director and other developers relayed the estimate.
The title will include Tactical Simulator missions at launch. The studio plans to add more Tactical Simulator missions through post-launch updates, which will extend total playtime beyond the core campaign.
IO Interactive has not given a specific release date for the main versions of 007 First Light. The Nintendo Switch 2 edition has been delayed and is now expected to arrive later this summer. The studio has not indicated whether other platforms are affected by the delay.
Developers described the Tactical Simulator as separate mission content designed to give players activities to complete after finishing the main story. New simulator missions will be delivered in updates after launch.
