Capcom releases Resident Evil Requiem demo on Switch 2

Capcom released a demo of Resident Evil Requiem for the Nintendo Switch 2 on the Nintendo eShop and is collecting player feedback through a short survey.
Capcom has released a playable demo of Resident Evil Requiem for the Nintendo Switch 2. The demo is available now on the Nintendo eShop for Switch 2 consoles.
The build runs natively on the handheld and offers a limited segment of the game to test mechanics and visuals. Capcom provided a playable version at the Tokyo Game Show and noted the eShop demo arrived later than originally planned.
Capcom invites players who try the demo to complete a short survey. The questionnaire asks about controls, performance, difficulty and general impressions, and requests permission to collect gameplay data.
The company has used feedback and telemetry from demos and surveys on previous Resident Evil titles to adjust control schemes, graphical settings and difficulty targets for updates or later projects.
Players can download the demo from the Nintendo eShop on Switch 2 systems. Capcom asks participants to submit the survey after playing to help assess how the Switch 2 version performs on a handheld.
At Tokyo Game Show demo stations, attendees tested handheld gameplay and performance on Switch 2 hardware. Capcom and Nintendo will use those sessions alongside eShop survey responses to evaluate optimization and the user experience on the platform.
