007 First Light Tops UK Chart, LEGO Batman Drops to No. 2
007 First Light debuted at No. 1 on the UK boxed physical sales chart this week, moving LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight to No. 2, according to GfK’s latest rankings.
007 First Light entered the UK boxed physical games chart at number one in the latest retail week, displacing LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight to second place. GfK compiled the rankings for physical retail sales across the country. The James Bond-themed title is a new physical release and is scheduled for a future release on Switch 2.
Resident Evil Requiem placed third on the chart. Physical sales for that release were split across platforms: 64% on PC, 29% on PS5, 6% on Switch 2 and 2% on Xbox Series. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate ranked fourth, with sales concentrated on PlayStation platforms: 68% on PS5 and 32% on PS4.
Pokémon Pokopia reached fifth, while Yoshi and the Mysterious Book fell to sixth in its second week on the chart. Mario Kart World was seventh. Long-standing franchises filled the remainder of the top ten: Mortal Kombat X at eight, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 at nine and Forza Horizon 6 at ten. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream dropped out of the top 40 this week.
Several multi-platform titles showed notable splits between Switch and Switch 2. Pokémon Legends: Z-A appeared at 12 with about 54% of physical sales on Switch and 46% on Switch 2. Pragmata placed 15th with 76% of physical sales on PS5 and 19% on Switch 2. Hogwarts Legacy charted at 28 with 64% of its boxed sales on Switch 2. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was at 33 with 97% of physical purchases on Switch 2. The Disney Afternoon Collection debuted at 34 with 58% of boxed sales on Switch 2.
Catalog titles remained present in the top 40, including Minecraft, multiple Super Mario compilations, Grand Theft Auto V and older Resident Evil releases. The GfK chart tracks only boxed physical sales and excludes digital downloads and streaming purchases.
