11 games head to Switch and Switch 2 in June, led by FFVII
Eleven games arrive on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in June 2026, including Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on June 3 (Switch 2) and Star Fox on Switch 2 with no set date.
Eleven games are scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in June 2026. Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Rebirth launches June 3 on Switch 2, and Nintendo lists Star Fox for Switch 2 later in the month without a specific date.
Tetris: The Grand Master 4 – Absolute Eye releases June 4 for the original Switch (publisher: Akira). Solarpunk arrives on Switch 2 on June 8 from Rokaplay. On June 11 three titles are due: to a T on Switch 2 (Annapurna Interactive), Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions on Switch 2 (Devolver Digital) and Unrailed 2: Back on Track on both Switch and Switch 2 (Indoor Astronaut). Denshattack! is scheduled for June 17 on Switch 2 (Fireshine Games). The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is listed for June 18 on both Switch platforms (Square Enix). On June 23 Destroy All Humans! releases on Switch 2 (THQ Nordic) and Wanderstop appears on both Switch and Switch 2 (Annapurna Interactive).
Publishers active in the June slate include Square Enix and Nintendo alongside Akira, Rokaplay, Annapurna Interactive, Devolver Digital, Indoor Astronaut, Fireshine Games and THQ Nordic. Several titles are planned for both Switch hardware generations, while others are listed for either the original Switch or Switch 2 only.
Nintendo describes the new Star Fox as a modernized take on the Nintendo 64 adventure that returns Fox McCloud and his crew to fight Andross and reclaim the Lylat System. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is scheduled as an early June release on Switch 2.
Release dates and platform listings from publishers show staggered launches across the month, with clusters of releases around June 11 and June 23.
