12+ New PS5, PS4 and PS Plus Games This Week (May 4–10)

More than a dozen PlayStation titles are scheduled to release between May 4 and May 10 on PS5 and PS4, with additional games added to the PS Plus Essential catalog. Key entries include MOTORSLICE, Wax Heads, Mixtape and EA FC 26.

On May 5, MOTORSLICE launches on PS5. The game is a parkour-focused action-adventure set in the ruins of a large megastructure, where players scale large bosses and search for construction equipment. Wax Heads, also on May 5 for PS5, is a narrative simulation set in a struggling record store that lets players interact with customers and a curated music collection. On the same date, PS Plus Essential subscribers can add EA FC 26, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and Nine Sols to their libraries.

On May 6, The Tag-Along Obsession arrives on PS5. The title follows a survivor of a resort accident who experiences persistent nightmares and confronts a vengeful spirit.

May 7 includes multiple releases across PS5 and PSVR2. Evil Inside VR for PSVR2 is a reworked virtual-reality version of a psychological horror game with changes to gameplay, lighting, sound and puzzles. Mixtape on PS5 is a coming-of-age adventure presented through a sequence of memories set to period music. Froggy Hates Snow on PS5 is a survival roguelike in which a frog digs through freezing snow to find treasures and upgrades. Haneda Girl is a 2D action platformer that allows instant swapping between two characters. WILL: Follow the Light is a first-person puzzle-adventure set across northern waters.

Hydroneer arrives on PS5 on May 8. The title is a mining sandbox focused on digging for resources and building mining machinery and bases.

The week’s releases span action-adventure, narrative simulation, psychological horror, virtual reality, roguelike, platformer and sandbox tycoon genres. Platforms include PS5, PS4 and PSVR2 where specified. PS Plus Essential additions become available on May 5.
