2013 Puzzle Game The Bridge Removed From PS4 Store

The Bridge, a puzzle game released in 2013 by The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild, has been removed from sale on the PlayStation Store for PS4. The PS4 listing was visible in the first week of August 2026 and disappeared in the days after that appearance.

Players reported seeing the game on sale earlier in August and later finding the PS4 storefront page missing. Listings for the PS3 and PS Vita versions remain active on their respective stores.

Neither Sony Interactive Entertainment nor The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild has provided an explanation for the PS4 removal or indicated whether the listing will return.

The PS3 and PS Vita storefronts are scheduled to close, which will prevent new purchases of those versions after the shutdowns. The Bridge is still available for purchase on Xbox and Steam at the time of reporting.

Some PlayStation users may already have access through a past promotion: The Bridge was offered free to PlayStation Plus subscribers in October 2018, allowing eligible accounts to retain the title without repurchasing.

According to the game’s official description, “The Bridge is a puzzle game that forces the player to reevaluate their preconceptions of physics and perspective.” The title features Escher-inspired puzzles and monochrome hand-drawn visuals and received critical praise on release for its mechanics and art direction.

The removal affects new purchases on PS4; accounts that previously bought or added the game should continue to have access unless further action is taken by the platform. No timeline has been announced for a return of the PS4 listing.
