24+ PS5 Games, Including LEGO Batman and Warhammer, May 18–24
More than 24 PS5 games release May 18–24, including LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight and Warhammer 40k: Speed Freeks. PS Plus Extra and Premium get catalog updates on May 19.
Sony will release more than 24 PlayStation 5 titles between May 18 and May 24, ranging from new entries to ports and remasters. Notable dates include Warhammer 40k: Speed Freeks on May 21 and LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on May 22.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight follows Bruce Wayne’s early development as Batman and includes allies Jim Gordon, Catwoman, Robin, Nightwing and Batgirl. The game features a roster of classic Batman villains such as the Joker, Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy and Bane. Warhammer 40k: Speed Freeks is a high-speed combat racer that offers vehicle customization, explosive weapons and a Creation Workshop for custom maps.
Bubsy 4D, a new 3D platformer, arrives on May 22. Adventure classics Myst and Riven reach PS5 on May 19 as updated versions of their island and Ages exploration experiences. Darksiders: Warmastered Edition also releases on May 19 with upgraded visuals and performance for modern hardware.
May 19 brings Rune Dice, a strategy title that uses dice mechanics. On May 20, Atomic Owl and the roguelite Savara debut. May 21’s releases include Coffee Talk Tokyo, a narrative coffee-brewing simulator; Gallipoli, a World War I action title; King of Tokyo, the kaiju dice game adaptation; Luna Abyss, a sci-fi exploration game; Psyviar 3, a shoot ’em up sequel; Starbites, a salvager-driven adventure; and Table Flip Simulator, a physics-based puzzle game.
PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium receive catalog updates on May 19. PS Plus Extra adds Bramble: The Mountain King; Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars Reforged; Enotria: The Last Song; Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn; Red Dead Redemption 2; Star Wars Outlaws; and The Thaumaturge. PS Plus Premium adds the PS1 classic Time Crisis with motion-control support.
Several launches this week are ports or remasters that include quality-of-life improvements for current consoles. The slate covers a range of genres, including racing, platforming, action, puzzle and narrative-driven games, aimed at both new players and returning fans.
