Ace Combat Zero PS5 Port Offered With Ace Combat 8 Pre-Order

Bandai Namco announced during Sony’s State of Play that customers who pre-order any digital edition of Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve will receive a PS5 port of the 2006 title Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War. Ace Combat 8 is scheduled to release on Oct. 2, 2026.

The included version of Ace Combat Zero has been updated for PS5 hardware. Bandai Namco said the port has been touched up to run better on modern consoles.

The offer applies to all digital pre-orders, including standard and digital deluxe editions. Bandai Namco has not confirmed whether the PS5 port will be sold or distributed separately after Ace Combat 8 ships, so players who want access should pre-order a digital copy to guarantee it.

Anyone who pre-orders Ace Combat 8 will also receive an F-14A skin for use in the new game. The digital deluxe edition adds three days of early access before Oct. 2 and includes a Premium Ace Pass Plus voucher and customizable cosmetics.

Ace Combat Zero originally launched in 2006. The game presents the origin story of the Ace Combat universe and introduced the Ace Style gauge, a gameplay mechanic that changes mission outcomes based on player choices during combat.

Bandai Namco did not provide details on physical pre-order bonuses, cross-platform availability of the Zero port, or pricing for separate distribution of the port.
