The Adventures of Elliot: 30-50 Hour Estimate on Switch 2
Director Shota Fukebara estimates about 30 hours for a standard playthrough and about 50 hours to fully explore The Adventures of Elliot on Switch 2 ahead of its June 18, 2026 release.
Square Enix director Shota Fukebara provided playtime estimates for The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, which is scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch 2 on June 18, 2026. He estimated a standard playthrough at about 30 hours and roughly 50 hours to explore every area across the game’s eras. A prologue demo is available now on the Nintendo eShop.
Fukebara offered the figures during a recent interview and explained that playtime will vary with player approach. The game spans multiple eras and includes optional activities and unlockable content tied to the character Faie’s magic, elements that can add to the total time spent.
As more of Faie’s magic is unlocked, players gain access to mini games and additional side content that lengthen the experience. Fukebara reiterated the breakdown: about 30 hours for a standard run and about 50 hours for a thorough exploration of all eras and maps.
Maps change as players progress through different eras, and optional activities are scattered across those environments. Square Enix plans promotional support and demos in the weeks before launch so players can sample combat, exploration and early-era mechanics.
