Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 PS5 release set for Aug. 25, 2026
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 arrives on PlayStation 5 on Aug. 25, 2026. Standard edition is $49.99; 40th Anniversary Premium Edition is $69.99.
Cold Iron Studios developed Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 and Daybreak Game Company will publish the title for PlayStation 5. The game is scheduled to launch on Aug. 25, 2026, and is available to add to wishlists on the PlayStation Store.
The standard digital edition is priced at $49.99. A 40th Anniversary Premium Edition is listed at $69.99 and includes the base game plus two themed content packs.
Ripley’s Hive Exterminator Pack contains an outfit modeled on Ellen Ripley’s appearance near the climax of the 1986 film Aliens, a modified pulse rifle with a special visual effect, and a set of decals and customization items that player-created characters can use. Herk Mondo’s Pest Pack offers an outfit inspired by the comic-book character, a large modified pulse rifle and additional decals and personalization items.
Each of the two content packs is available for separate purchase at $19.99. The release announcement covers the PlayStation 5 edition only; the publisher has not released details on physical editions, a post-launch content roadmap or plans for other platforms.
