Pragmata entered the top three of the US PlayStation Store download chart in April. Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes made its first appearance on the PS VR2 download listings and NTE: Neverness to Everness showed up on the free-to-play chart. The monthly rankings cover digital purchases in the United States, Canada and Europe across PS5, PS4 and PS VR2 platforms.

On PS5, sports franchises and long-running single-player titles accounted for many of April’s top downloads. MLB The Show 26 and EA Sports FC 26 were among the leading purchases across regions. Other high-ranking PS5 downloads included Pragmata, Starfield and Grand Theft Auto V. NBA 2K26, Hades II and Resident Evil 4 also recorded notable download totals in multiple territories.

PS4 lists were led by established catalog sellers and multiplayer staples. Red Dead Redemption 2 and Gang Beasts ranked highly across regions, and several Call of Duty and Resident Evil entries continued to place on the monthly charts. Older collections and remasters, including Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Metro Exodus, remained present on the PS4 download listings.

On PS VR2, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition and Beat Saber topped regional charts in April. Metro Awakening, Among Us 3D: VR and Job Simulator also placed well. Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes entered the VR rankings alongside titles such as Alien: Rogue Incursion VR and The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners.

Free-to-play downloads were dominated by long-running titles. Roblox, Fortnite and Rocket League were among the most-downloaded free games. Call of Duty: Warzone and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege (free access) continued to appear on the lists, and April’s free-to-play chart included NTE: Neverness to Everness, Apex Legends and Fall Guys.

The PlayStation Store rankings reflect purchases made through the digital store only. Game upgrades bundled with hardware and other package deals are excluded from the monthly download charts.
