Ark: Survival Ascended on PS5 drops to $11.24

Studio Wildcard’s Ark: Survival Ascended for PS5 is 75% off on the PlayStation Store and is available for $11.24 until July 2. After the sale the game’s regular price will revert to $44.99. The discount applies to the PS5 edition only.

The title is a 2023 remaster of 2017’s Ark: Survival Evolved. The PS5 version is enhanced for PS5 Pro and offers online multiplayer alongside a single-player mode. Gameplay features include base building, crafting and dinosaur taming carried over from the original release.

PlayStation Plus subscribers should check their libraries before buying: Ark: Survival Ascended was offered as a monthly free title in May 2025. The game is not included in the PS Plus Extra or Premium catalogs.

The PlayStation Store lists several free add-ons for the game. Players who purchase the base edition can add those items to their cart at no extra cost.

Studio Wildcard released the remaster to update visuals and performance for current hardware while maintaining the core gameplay of the original title.

The game’s official overview reads: “Respawn into a new dinosaur survival experience beyond your wildest dreams. You awake on a mysterious island, your senses overwhelmed by the blinding sunlight and brilliant colors bouncing off every surface around you, the azure waters of a verdant Island lapping at your bare feet…”

The sale ends on July 2, after which the PlayStation Store listing will display the standard $44.99 price.
