Ubisoft confirmed that Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced will include a one-button toggle that instantly disables the game’s heads-up display. The feature is part of the remake of the 2013 title.
Activating the toggle hides on-screen elements such as the compass, objective markers, quest text and button prompts. Players can clear the interface with a single press instead of turning off individual HUD options.
The official Assassin’s Creed social account highlighted the toggle and received praise from users. An assistant editor wrote that the ability to “turn it all off in an instant” felt like “a stroke of genius.”
Developers have included HUD options in other games, but the single-button approach applies the setting immediately without entering menus or using photo mode. Supporters say the option makes it easier to explore or take screenshots without on-screen clutter.
