Atelier Karia due early 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, PC

Koei Tecmo announced Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & Guide of Memories will launch in early 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The company published the first trailer and official details on the game’s setting, characters and broad release window.

The title returns players to the continent of Aladiss, introduced in 2025’s Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land. The story follows Karia, an amnesiac alchemist who joins a team to explore Aladiss’ underworld and recover lost memories while training in alchemy under Yumia Liessfeldt. The core party includes Servio Lektor, described as a heretic biologist from a pioneering team, and Fina Rozen, a skilled fighter who travels with Karia.

The trailer highlights environments, character designs, combat and exploration set pieces. Official materials describe party-based exploration and progression driven by alchemy. Koei Tecmo has not provided a specific release day or month within the early 2027 window.

The publisher’s official description reads: “Working together with Servio Lektor, a heretic biologist from the pioneering team, and Fina Rozen, a talented fighter, Karia sets out on a journey to explore Aladiss’ mysterious underworld to uncover its secret. Guided by alchemist Yumia Liessfeldt, Karia will develop her talent for alchemy whilst seeking to recover her lost memories, to reawaken the past and savor the present.”

Gust’s Atelier series began in 1997 and has expanded to more than 30 mainline and side titles plus several anime and manga adaptations. The series centers on item synthesis and character-focused narratives.

Koei Tecmo and Gust have not released platform-specific features, pre-order details or PC system requirements. The publisher indicated further information on release timing, gameplay mechanics and distribution will arrive in the months before launch.
