Barbie Rewind brings 16 classic Barbie games to PS5, PS4

Digital Eclipse developed Barbie Rewind and Atari will publish it for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on November 12. A boxed physical edition can be pre-ordered from Atari’s official online store.

The collection presents an interactive pixel-art PlayHouse where players can decorate Barbie’s home with furniture and accessories taken from the brand’s history. Players obtain items and decorations by playing the included games.

The announced lineup includes Barbie (1991), Barbie Game Girl (1992), Barbie Super Model (1993), Barbie Vacation Adventure (1994), Barbie: Race & Ride (1999), Barbie Super Sports (1999), Barbie: Pet Rescue (2001), Barbie: Groovy Games (2002), Super Agent Barbie: Royal Jewel Mission (2002), Barbie Horse Adventures: Blue Ribbon Race (2003) and The Barbie Diaries: High School Mystery (2006). Digital Eclipse says the full package contains 16 games in total.

Digital Eclipse uses the PlayHouse as a hub that links the individual game experiences and collectible items, placing unlocked objects inside the pixel-art environment rather than presenting games in a gallery menu.

Atari did not provide pricing, details on special packaging or regional availability in the announcement. No system-specific technical details were published at the time of the reveal.

Digital Eclipse has previously released curated retro collections that combine preserved game builds with new presentation layers. Barbie Rewind pairs archival game content with an original hub designed to connect the titles under a single interface.
