Barbie Rewind: 16 Classic Barbie Games for Switch Nov. 12

Digital Eclipse and Atari will release Barbie Rewind, a 16-game collection for Nintendo Switch on Nov. 12, 2026. Pre-orders are open for $29.99 digital and $59.99 deluxe.

Digital Eclipse and Atari announced Barbie Rewind, a collection of 16 classic Barbie video games, will arrive on Nintendo Switch and Switch OLED on Nov. 12, 2026. Pre-orders are available now for a digital standard edition at $29.99 and a deluxe physical edition at $59.99.

The collection restores titles originally released between 1991 and 2007 and adapts them for modern hardware and controllers. Confirmed entries include Barbie Pet Rescue for Game Boy Color, Barbie Horse Adventures: Blue Ribbon Race for Game Boy Advance, and a never-before-released title, Barbie: Vacation Adventure, which was developed for Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo. The set totals 16 games.

The announcement notes the games have been enhanced for modern platforms but does not list specific technical changes such as resolution upgrades, save states or frame-rate adjustments.

Barbie Rewind adds a new DreamHouse design mode. The announcement describes the mode as ‘A cozy, creative world inspired by Barbie’ where players can style rooms using furniture, decor and accessories modeled on real Barbie playsets released over the past 65 years. Many playset items are unlocked by reaching achievements tied to playing a selection of the included 1990s and 2000s games.

The deluxe physical edition includes a physical Barbie doll wearing an Atari-branded shirt. Pre-orders for both editions are available through the publishers. The release date is Nov. 12, 2026, for Nintendo Switch and Switch OLED.

Digital Eclipse and Atari previously collaborated on other retro compilation projects and continue to release curated collections of older games.
