Bloomwalker, Ni no Kuni adventure, confirmed for PS5

Netmarble Neo and publisher Netmarble confirmed Bloomwalker for PlayStation 5 and announced it will also release on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The title is set in the Ni no Kuni universe created by LEVEL-5.

Bloomwalker takes place in Luminoa, a world affected by pollution. Players travel there with a companion that functions as a mobile house. The journey moves from sanctuary to sanctuary, with stops at resource-rich anchorages for exploration and material gathering to advance a purification storyline.

The house expands as players progress, gaining new features that change exploration and interaction with the environment. A pocket dimension accessed through the house’s door serves as a personal base where players can build structures, arrange facilities and decorate a living space.

Crafting is central. Players learn recipes and build items using facilities unlocked by forming deeper ties with artisan characters met during the game. Strengthening those relationships grants access to additional formulas and production methods.

Players also collect and care for small companion creatures called higgledies. These companions need food and shelter and in return provide vitality and resources used for exploration and crafting. The game combines base-building and resource management with companion care.

Netmarble described Bloomwalker as “Build and tend to your own pocket dimension beyond the door, and breathe new life into the fallen world of Luminoa alongside your artisan friends, the familiars, and the little spirits known as higgledies.”

Netmarble Neo is developing the game and Netmarble will publish it. No release date or launch window has been announced for any platform. Details released so far focus on gameplay systems and player activities rather than a timetable.
