Blue Prince Switch 2 physical edition includes in-game books

iam8bit will publish a physical Switch 2 edition of Blue Prince that includes the on-cartridge game, replica in-game books, a soundtrack download code and a range of themed merchandise. Pre-orders opened on iam8bit’s website and will remain available through July 20. iam8bit lists an expected shipping window of October for orders placed before the cutoff.

The release is offered in two core variants. A standard cartridge edition and an Exclusive Edition packaged in a unique sleeve both include the game on cartridge, a two-sided fold-out poster, a small booklet-style notebook and a download code for the soundtrack. The pre-order price for these editions is $49.99.

A wider merchandise collection tied to in-game items is available separately and in bundles. The merch options include replica keys, enamel pin badges, additional notebooks and a lunchbox modelled on the game’s in-store item. The set includes physical hardback editions of three books that appear inside Blue Prince’s in-game library: Swim Bird, The Red Prince and A New Clue. iam8bit is selling a full bundle with all merchandise and the game for $174.99, and a merchandise-only bundle for $129.99.

Dogubomb developed Blue Prince and Raw Fury published it. The game first launched on PC and PS5 in 2025. A Switch 2 port released this year; iam8bit is handling the limited-run collector editions and pre-orders on its product page.

The in-game hardbacks contain the same text and puzzle elements players encounter during gameplay. Some of those passages appear in later areas and can serve as reference material while working through tougher puzzles, including sequences identified by players as occurring around Room 46.

Pre-orders and bundle options are listed on iam8bit’s product page. Orders placed before July 20 are expected to ship in October according to the publisher’s listed window.
