Bonus Minecraft LIVE to stream from TwitchCon Rotterdam

Minecraft staged a bonus Minecraft LIVE broadcast from TwitchCon Rotterdam on May 30, offering developer previews and early looks at current and upcoming content drops.

The show provided direct developer commentary and on-stage reveals. It was presented only months after the previous Minecraft LIVE and was the first edition to be broadcast from TwitchCon.

The event began at 17:30 CET / 8:30 PST. Remote viewers could watch the program live to receive announcements as developers revealed them on stage, while attendees at TwitchCon saw demonstrations in person.

Organizers wrote the live format included early looks at recent updates, previews of future releases and interviews with members of the development team. The broadcast mixed footage from the convention floor with studio segments to reach both in-person and online audiences.

Minecraft LIVE serves as Mojang and Microsoft’s platform for announcing content drops, community events and gameplay updates. The TwitchCon edition focused on multiple sneak peeks and developer discussion rather than a single large announcement.
