Brazil filings reveal Xbox Elite Series 3 and cloud controller

Filings with a Brazilian regulator show images of an Xbox Elite Series 3 with two bottom scroll wheels and a phone-style cloud controller with a 500 mAh battery and two colors.

Documents filed with a Brazilian regulator include images and specifications for two Xbox controllers: an Elite Series 3 model and a compact controller for Xbox Cloud Gaming.

The Elite Series 3 drawing retains an offset thumbstick layout and adds two small scroll wheels on the bottom edge, positioned where auxiliary inputs could be located.

The cloud controller is shown in a phone-style form factor similar to detachable mobile controllers. The filing lists a 500 mAh battery and two color finishes identified as dark and light.

The submission contains product drawings and basic specifications but does not include manufacturer statements, pricing, launch dates, or regional availability. Microsoft has not announced either product.

Industry reporter Jez Corden described the cloud controller as ‘100% legit.’ The filings provide no further technical details beyond images, the battery rating and color options.

The Elite line has previously offered premium components and customization options for competitive players. The documents do not state whether the Elite Series 3 will be wired or wireless.

The regulatory images are currently the only public material showing these two controller designs in development.
