PS5 remaster of 2010 shooter 50% off on PlayStation Store

Call of Duty: Black Ops remaster for PS4 and PS5 is 50% off on the PlayStation Store at $19.99 through Sept. 24, 2026.

Call of Duty: Black Ops, remastered for PS4 and PS5 and released July 9, 2026, is on sale for $19.99 on the PlayStation Store. The 50% discount runs through Sept. 24, 2026, after which the game will return to its regular price of $39.99.

Iron Galaxy Studios handled the PlayStation remaster. The original game was developed by Treyarch and published by Activision on Nov. 9, 2010. The 2026 release is the title’s first appearance on PlayStation platforms.

The PlayStation release includes the original single-player campaign, classic multiplayer modes and the cooperative Zombies survival mode. The campaign is set in the 1960s Cold War and follows CIA operative Alex Mason as he recovers lost memories linked to a numbers station. Missions take players to Cuba, the Soviet Union, the United States, South Vietnam, Hong Kong, Canada and Laos.

The remaster is not a full remake. It runs at native 1080p and 60 frames per second on both PS4 and PS5. A Season Pass bundle is listed at $9.89 during the sale after a 67% discount. The bundle includes four downloadable expansions, additional multiplayer and Zombies maps, and bonus items.

User reviews on the PlayStation Store give the remastered release a 4.59 rating. The sale is limited to purchases on the PlayStation Store and covers the base game; additional content must be bought separately.
