Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 adds The Boys crossover
Season 5 ‘Revenge’ launches May 27 at 5 p.m. PT with The Boys crossover, Supe-themed Multiplayer and Battle Royale modes, Armored Royale vehicular BR, BAL-27 rifle and new Battle Pass.
Activision will launch Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 “Revenge” on May 27 at 5 p.m. PT. The update introduces a crossover with the TV series The Boys, two Supe-themed game modes, a squad-based vehicular Battle Royale called Armored Royale, a new Battle Pass with the BAL-27 assault rifle, seasonal events, Draws and store offers.
The new Multiplayer mode, The Boys MP — Supe’d Up Attack of the Undead, automatically assigns each Operator one of three Supes: Homelander, Starlight or Black Noir. One player starts as the undead and must convert or eliminate survivors. Undead players rely on speed, agility and melee attacks, while human players use ranged weapons and equipment. Matches end when time runs out or all players are converted.
The final human survivor in a match activates a Supe power tied to their assigned character. Starlight emits a shockwave that slows undead in its radius. Black Noir draws a katana and gains extra movement with eliminations. Homelander hovers and fires laser beams while managing an overheat meter.
The Boys BR — Vought Royale places doses of Temp V across the Isolated map. Operators who collect a dose receive one of four temporary powers that are consumed on use. Charge Jump grants high vertical mobility and deals impact damage on landing. Laser Vision allows levitation and beam attacks. Electric Shockwave deals area shock damage and can disable vehicles and equipment. Blink teleports a player a short distance to a marked destination.
Armored Royale is a squad-based Battle Royale mode centered on armored vehicles. Players spawn near their team vehicle, which serves as a respawn point while it remains functional. Teams earn cash to upgrade vehicles and can use repair stations to heal damage. If a player’s vehicle is intact when they are eliminated, they respawn after a cooldown. Destroyed vehicles require Buy Station redeploy markers.
The Revenge Battle Pass offers free and premium reward streams. Free tiers include the BAL-27, a bullpup assault rifle whose fire rate accelerates during sustained fire, plus a Stealth Chopper scorestreak reskin and other cosmetics. Premium tiers add Operator skins, weapon blueprints tied to season weapons and additional items. A Battle Pass subscription option provides monthly rewards and XP boosts.
Season 5 adds three The Boys-themed Draws led by Homelander, Starlight and Black Noir. Each Draw includes a signature Operator look and a Legendary weapon blueprint with unique death effects, inspection animations and reactive visual elements tied to eliminations. A separate Mythic Operator Draw features Kui Ji — Viridescent Oath, which includes a Mythic Operator version of Kui Ji and the Verdant Vow weapon blueprint.
Seasonal events include a faction-based The Boys event that lets players join either The Boys or the Dawn of the Seven to earn more than a dozen Epic rewards, including a Holger 26 weapon blueprint and the Manta Ray Operator skin. A 1v1 Duel event called Second to None updates round structure and maps for head-to-head play and awards an Epic BK57 weapon blueprint.
Promotions include early-access Double COD Points on the Web Store starting May 24 UTC, with in-game availability at the Season 5 launch. The Web Store will also offer themed bundles and a free gift tied to The Boys, and the in-game store will carry new weapon blueprints and Vault entries for past Battle Pass items.
Marketing materials include a line attributed to Homelander: “To those who seek to destroy me, the non-believers and backstabbers… I offer oblivion.” Season 5 “Revenge” goes live on Call of Duty: Mobile May 27 at 5 p.m. PT.
