Capcom Delists Dragon’s Dogma 2 Deluxe, Removes Microtransactions

Capcom will remove the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Deluxe Edition and several downloadable items from the PlayStation Store on June 24, 2026. The company also confirmed it will remove in-game microtransactions and apply a permanent publisher discount to digital editions across storefronts.

The delisting affects PS5 users on the PlayStation Store, where the Deluxe Edition and select DLC will no longer be available after June 24. Capcom advised PlayStation Store customers to wait before purchasing while the new pricing is prepared.

Capcom has not disclosed the new price or the size of the publisher discount. The company said the Deluxe Edition will likely be replaced by a new digital SKU that bundles the base game with the upcoming Dark Arisen expansion, but it did not provide a final list of removed items or firm details about the replacement edition.

Dark Arisen is scheduled for release on October 9, 2026. In a statement, Capcom described the expansion: “The dynamic fantasy world is expanded with new tales and thrilling encounters,” and said players will travel to a snowy northern area called the Norgan region and face 12 new dungeon challenges. Capcom published a trailer for the expansion.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 launched in 2024 for PlayStation 5. Capcom has not commented on whether physical retail editions will change or how existing owners of removed DLC will be affected.

The publisher specified the June 24 delisting applies to the PlayStation Store only. The permanent publisher discount will extend to other digital storefronts when the update goes live.
