Capcom launches Leon Must Die Forever time-attack on PS5
Capcom released Leon Must Die Forever, a time-attack mode for Resident Evil Requiem on PS5, available now after players complete the main campaign.
Capcom has released Leon Must Die Forever, a new time-attack mini game for the PS5 version of Resident Evil Requiem. The mode is available to download now and unlocks after a player finishes the main campaign. Players move through timed stages using Leon’s enhancer abilities to reach and defeat a stage boss before the clock runs out.
The mode is a standalone combat challenge that focuses on short, fast runs rather than the main story. Each stage requires players to use enhanced moves and weapons to clear enemies and reach the boss within a strict time limit. Capcom described the mode as offering scoring and time goals that encourage repeated attempts and noted an “extreme high-difficulty” option aimed at experienced players and speedrunners.
Leon Must Die Forever focuses on combat sequences from Leon’s sections of Requiem. It narrows the gameplay to those segments and lets players experiment with combos and enhancer-powered abilities in compact stages. The mode is separate from the narrative campaign and emphasizes aggressive use of Leon’s full move set.
The add-on is delivered as a downloadable update for the PS5 version of Resident Evil Requiem. Players must install the update and have completed the main game to access the mode. Capcom has confirmed it will continue updating Requiem and plans a full story-focused expansion for a future release.
The new time-attack mode follows the franchise’s history of optional mini games that extend play beyond the main narrative and provides a challenge for players who want to test speed and combat efficiency.
