Capcom released a free demo of Resident Evil Requiem for Xbox Series X|S on the Xbox Store; demo save data will not transfer to the full game.

Capcom has released a free demo of Resident Evil Requiem for Xbox Series X|S on the Xbox Store. The demo includes a portion of the game’s early stages and is available to download now.

Capcom notes that “save data from the demo version cannot be transferred to the full version of the game.” Progress made in the demo will not carry over if players purchase the full game.

The demo covers part of the opening content to allow players to sample core gameplay, story elements and the early area design. The build aims to let console owners evaluate performance and mechanics on Series X|S hardware before buying the full title.

The demo is listed on the Xbox Series X|S store page. To find it on console, search for Resident Evil Requiem in the Xbox Store on Xbox Series X or Series S.

Capcom has not announced a comparable free trial for other platforms at this time.
