Citizen Sleeper games get Nintendo Switch 2 Editions on June 25
Developer Jump Over The Age will release Citizen Sleeper and Citizen Sleeper 2 as Nintendo Switch 2 Editions on June 25. eShop pre-orders are live and original Switch owners can upgrade free.
Jump Over The Age announced that Citizen Sleeper and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector will arrive as Nintendo Switch 2 Editions on June 25. Both editions are available to pre-order on the Nintendo eShop. Owners of the original Nintendo Switch releases can upgrade to the Switch 2 Editions at no extra cost on launch day.
The Switch 2 Editions increase resolution and frame rate compared with the earlier console versions. Docked output is 4K, handheld performance runs at 1080p, and both games target 60 frames per second. The developer has not confirmed whether a dedicated mouse mode will be included.
Both titles are narrative-driven science fiction games influenced by tabletop role-playing. Their mechanics use choice and dice-roll systems to determine outcomes. Citizen Sleeper 2 received multiple award nominations and appeared on several year-end best-of lists after its release.
The studio announced it will reveal a new project in a World Premiere at the upcoming PC Gaming Show. No release window or platform details were provided for that project.
