College Football 27 Reportedly Skips Switch 2, Heads to PC

Leaker Billbil-kun reports that EA Sports College Football 27 will not launch on Nintendo Switch 2 and is expected to arrive on PC. The leak did not include a release date or confirm any additional platforms.

The report notes a difference in platform availability between College Football 27 and Madden NFL 27, with Madden scheduled for Nintendo’s next console. EA has not provided a statement explaining why the college title would be omitted from Switch 2.

A PC release would make the game available to users of handheld PC devices such as Valve’s Steam Deck, depending on Valve’s compatibility tools and any required developer optimizations. Neither EA nor Valve has issued formal compatibility information.

Billbil-kun did not clarify whether the Switch 2 exclusion applies to digital or physical editions, or whether technical, certification or market factors affected the decision. There is no information yet on cross-play, cloud saves, or other platform features for the PC build.
