Control Resonant early access limited to PS5

Remedy Entertainment confirmed the 48-hour early access period for Control Resonant will be available only to PlayStation 5 players. The early access window runs Sept. 22-23, 2026, ahead of the game’s full release on Sept. 24 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Access requires pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe Edition on PS5.

Store listings show the Digital Deluxe Edition is priced at $69.99 on both platforms in the United States. In the United Kingdom the Xbox Digital Deluxe Edition is listed at £58.49 while the PS5 Digital Deluxe is £54.99. The Standard Edition is listed at £49.99 and $59.99 on both platforms; the PS5 Standard Edition includes an additional cosmetic item not present on the Xbox Standard Edition.

Both platforms’ Digital Deluxe packages advertise the main game, a digital artbook, the original soundtrack, an Untapped Artifact (Wallet), a starter resource bundle, an AWE mission outfit, the Hiss Corruption Outfit and the Pickpocket’s Tool Artifact. The PS5 Digital Deluxe listing also includes an Occult Outfit and the 48-hour early access window; the Xbox Digital Deluxe listing does not include those items.

Remedy staff confirmed the early access as a platform-specific preorder benefit. The PlayStation store listing notes early access begins Sept. 22 for qualifying PS5 pre-orders. No alternate early access offers for Xbox buyers have been announced, and no changes to pricing or edition contents have been indicated by the publisher.

Control Resonant is the next main entry in Remedy’s Control series and will arrive on current-generation consoles on Sept. 24, 2026. Pre-order tiers and exact contents are listed on each platform’s digital storefronts where platform-specific differences and promotional details appear.
