Control Resonant: 48-hour PS5 early access; Xbox includes PC copy
PS5 Digital Deluxe preorders receive 48-hour early access beginning Sept. 22; full release is Sept. 24 and Xbox digital purchases include a free PC copy via Xbox Play Anywhere.
Remedy Entertainment confirmed that the 48-hour early access for Control Resonant is exclusive to PlayStation 5 Digital Deluxe preorders. Early access begins on September 22, 2026. The full game launches on September 24, 2026 across all platforms.
The Standard Edition is priced at £49.99 / $59.99 on both PS5 and Xbox; the PS5 Standard Edition includes an additional cosmetic, the Occult Outfit, that the Xbox Standard Edition does not. The Digital Deluxe Edition is listed at $69.99 in the United States on both platforms. In the U.K. the Xbox Digital Deluxe is £58.49 while the PS5 Digital Deluxe is £54.99.
Digital Deluxe packages include the main game, a digital artbook, the original soundtrack, an untapped artifact (wallet), a starter resource bundle and an AWE mission outfit. The PS5 Deluxe edition adds the Occult Outfit and the 48-hour early access window to those contents.
Control Resonant is part of Xbox Play Anywhere. Digital purchases on Xbox grant a downloadable PC version at no extra charge; PS5 purchases do not include a PC copy.
Remedy showcased gameplay and confirmed release timing, edition contents and pricing during a recent State of Play presentation. The developer provided the edition and early access details ahead of the September launch.
