Control: Ultimate Edition on PS5 $3.99 ahead of sequel

Control: Ultimate Edition for PS5 is available on the PlayStation Store for $3.99, a 90% discount, through June 11, 2026.

The Ultimate Edition bundles the 2019 base game with the expansions The Foundation and AWE in a single digital purchase on the PS5 storefront.

Control follows Jesse Faden, the director of the Federal Bureau of Control. The title combines third-person action combat with horror and supernatural elements.

Since its 2019 release, Control has sold more than 6 million copies and received multiple year-end award nominations, including Game of the Year nods.

The game’s store description reads: “A corruptive presence has invaded the Federal Bureau of Control . . . Only you have the power to stop it. The world is now your weapon in an epic fight to annihilate an ominous enemy through deep and unpredictable environments. Containment has failed, humanity is at stake. Will you regain control?”

A sequel, Control Resonant, is scheduled for release on Sept. 24, 2026. Remedy released a spin-off, FBC: Firebreak, in 2025; the spin-off has since stopped receiving updates and further development.
