Crimson Desert PS5 Patch 1.07 Adds Boss Rematches, New Moves

Pearl Abyss released Crimson Desert PS5 patch 1.07, its second PS5 update in five days, adding rematches for five bosses plus new unarmed and aerial combat moves.

Pearl Abyss released Crimson Desert patch 1.07 for PlayStation 5. The update, published five days after the previous PS5 patch, is available to download now and adds rematch options, combat moves, mount changes and a wide set of bug fixes.

Patch 1.07 enables rematches for five bosses. Players can find rematch locations in the in-game journal under Knowledge > Memory Fragments > Bosses. Muskan’s rematch is at Bonepit, Corrupted Caliburn at Fort Musket, Goyen at Spire of the Sun, Draven the Crowcaller at Church of West Demeniss, and the Clockwork White Horn at Gate to Advancement. Several bosses that originally appeared in the Abyss now have rematch encounters on land.

The update adds unarmed and aerial combat options. Damiane receives new unarmed skills in the Fists skill menu. Damiane and Oongka gain an Aerial Stab attack, and Kliff gains an unarmed finisher called Blinding Flash Finisher. The patch improves unarmed movement and adjusts most unarmed attacks so they can hit enemies lying on the ground. Oongka’s Explosive Strike now includes a charge phase and chains more reliably into Stab when dual-wielding.

Mount options were expanded by increasing the number of animal types that can be registered as mounts, adding additional wolf and bear varieties and introducing reins for certain mounts. The update fixes issues that prevented legendary mounts and the A.T.A.G. summon from appearing in some situations and corrects cases where equipment on horses could disappear.

Patch 1.07 resolves multiple quest and gameplay bugs. Fixes cover abnormal appearances of specific armor and NPCs, missing items such as the Eastern Witch’s Fan and the Kuku Bird Egg, and progression blockers in quests including Faces on the Bounty Notice, Ugmon’s Request and Plentiful Greeting. The update also addresses mission progression problems when comrades are disbanded after moving to a mission location.

Additional corrections target boss behavior, controls and UI. The patch fixes excessive gliding in certain boss attack patterns and resolves a health recovery issue for Blackstar during the Deferred Advance encounter. Control and UI changes include canceling the eating animation properly when unarmed on Easy and Normal difficulties, fixing angle restrictions for interacting with a handwheel on a coil pillar, and correcting controller key guides that displayed keyboard and mouse inputs.

Graphics and system fixes address a GPU crash tied to AMD driver version 26.5.1 and correct icon mismatches and flickering for certain weapons and two-handed cannons. Localization quality was improved across languages. Patch 1.07 follows an earlier PS5 update this week and is available now on PS5.
