Crimson Moon PS5 RPG Launches Sept. 1 for $19.99

ProbablyMonsters announced that Crimson Moon will launch for PlayStation 5 on September 1, 2026. The developer listed a standard edition at $19.99 and a deluxe edition at $29.99. The game’s PlayStation Store page is live for wishlisting, but preorders are not yet available.

The developer released a trailer and populated the PS Store entry to prepare for the late-2026 launch.

Set in the fallen city of Gildenarch, players take the role of a Nephilim tasked with reclaiming the city. The game’s official overview reads: “In Crimson Moon, you embody the form of a Nephilim — violent half-human, half-angel hybrid forged to defend humanity from hell using supernatural powers, weapons, and melee combat abilities.” The overview adds that players will face demons, undead, vampires and Hellgrowth abominations in replayable runs that end with boss encounters against the Dead Gods.

Gameplay centers on souls-inspired melee combat, supernatural powers and a range of weapons. Progression is tied to repeated playthroughs and the acquisition of new abilities and equipment over time.

Crimson Moon supports solo play and two-player cooperative play on PS5; a PlayStation Plus subscription is required to access co-op. The publisher notes post-launch content is planned. The deluxe edition bundles the base game with a post-launch content expansion and two downloadable items: a Ceremonial Armor Set and the Axe of the Gods.

The release arrives in a busy fall 2026 window for console releases. Interested PS5 players can add Crimson Moon to their PlayStation wishlists while preorders remain closed.
