Cronos DLC Lazarus arrives on PS5 in Fall 2026
Bloober Team announced Cronos: Lazarus, a PS5-exclusive story DLC for Cronos: The New Dawn, will launch in Fall 2026 and lets players control the Warden with faster, more aggressive combat.
Bloober Team announced Cronos: Lazarus, a story DLC for Cronos: The New Dawn, will arrive on PS5 in Fall 2026. The expansion puts players in the role of the Warden and shifts the game’s combat toward a faster, more aggressive style.
According to Bloober Team’s press release, players will “experience a faster, more aggressive style of combat” and the expansion moves away from the precision-focused play of the original release. The Warden is described as an elite agent of the Collective who is scarred and broken by years in the wasteland; the character is not at full strength but retains the ability to move quickly and strike hard.
The release adds that the Warden will face an opponent “engineered specifically to stop him.” It also says battles “will escalate into large scale, cinematic encounters that will test every skill you possess.”
Cronos: Lazarus is presented as a story-focused expansion to last year’s Cronos: The New Dawn, which received positive reviews. The DLC is confirmed for PS5 only and is scheduled for Fall 2026. Bloober Team has not announced a precise release date or a price for the expansion.
The developer has not disclosed the expansion’s length, whether saves will carry over from the base game, or if Lazarus will appear on platforms beyond PS5. Bloober Team is known for producing horror and psychological games and continues to add content to the Cronos franchise.
Further details are expected from Bloober Team ahead of the fall launch.
