Day of the Devs: 33 Immortals, Trine 6, Screenbound
Day of the Devs 2026 announced Xbox-bound indies: 33 Immortals (June 10 on Xbox Game Pass), Screenbound (Sept. 10 on Game Pass), Trine 6 (Sept. 17) and Blood Dungeon (late summer 2026).
Day of the Devs 2026 aired after the Summer Game Fest presentation and presented a slate of indie titles confirmed for consoles. Major releases announced for Xbox include 33 Immortals, Screenbound, Trine 6: Together in Time and Blood Dungeon.
33 Immortals will reach version 1.0 on June 10, 2026, with a launch on Steam and simultaneous updates on the Epic Games Store and Xbox. The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass at release.
Screenbound is a platformer that mixes 2D and 3D mechanics and features a device called the Qboy that reveals a dual reality. It is scheduled for Sept. 10, 2026, and will arrive on Xbox Game Pass.
Trine 6: Together in Time is a cooperative puzzle platformer for one to four players, set for release on Sept. 17, 2026.
Blood Dungeon, developed by the team behind Nidhogg, is a 2D platforming auto-shooter due in late summer 2026. The game includes collectible resources-blood, gold and bones-that increase player abilities and features a prominent soundtrack.
Other projects shown include Threads of Time, a turn-based RPG with time-travel elements that currently has no firm release window; Slap Out Of It!, a comedy-focused puzzle game targeting 2027 that uses point-and-click style problem solving across interconnected rooms; and Super Yooka-Laylee Kart, which will launch on PC first with console editions to follow.
The stream highlighted indie titles that have been confirmed for consoles. The event aired after the main industry showcase and frequently broadcasts outside prime viewing hours. Several announced games included specific release dates or platform plans, while others remain listed as to be determined for console availability.
Players should check storefront pages and Xbox Game Pass listings for final release timing and platform details, as some entries will appear on multiple services and others will follow a PC-first schedule with later console ports.
