Days of Play May 27–June 10; PS5 Consoles Excluded

Sony’s Days of Play promotion is reported to run from May 27 to June 10, 2026, according to leaker BillBil-Kun. The event is traditionally a multiweek sale covering PlayStation hardware, accessories and software.

BillBil-Kun posted that Sony will not include price cuts on PS5 consoles in the 2026 promotion. The leaker listed temporary reductions on DualSense controllers, the PSVR2 headset, Pulse Elite headphones and Pulse Explore earphones. A major PlayStation Store sale and discounts on physical PS5 titles are also expected. Ghost of Yotei was named as a title likely to be included in the sale.

Sony has not confirmed the dates or the lineup for Days of Play 2026. The company may change the promotion before it begins. Past Days of Play events have offered both digital discounts on the PlayStation Store and retailer deals on physical products.

Sony has raised prices on its consoles in recent months; the PS5 Pro launched at $900. BillBil-Kun’s report excludes PS5 systems from this year’s advertised discounts.

If the report is accurate, the 2026 promotion will concentrate on accessories and game discounts rather than system price cuts. Details such as participating retailers, exact discount levels and regional availability will be disclosed when Sony issues an official announcement.
