Dead or Alive 6: Last Round Core Fighters free on PS Store

Sony’s PlayStation Store has released Dead or Alive 6: Last Round Core Fighters, a free edition for PS5 available worldwide. The Core Fighters download includes four playable characters: Kasumi, Marie Rose, Honoka and NiCO.

Last Round is the 2026 definitive edition of Dead or Alive 6, the fighting game originally released in 2019. Earlier editions have been delisted and replaced by the Last Round version, which launched on June 25, 2026.

Core Fighters functions as a no-cost entry point to Last Round. The free edition lets players try the included characters and access standard online and local combat modes. Progress and unlocked items earned in Core Fighters will transfer to the full Last Round release if players decide to purchase it.

Players seeking story mode or additional roster members must buy the full Last Round edition. Story Unlock Keys and Character Unlock Keys from the original Dead or Alive 6 are not compatible with the Last Round build.

Koei Tecmo described the game’s combat systems in a statement: “From simple skirmishes to serious strategy, DoA 6: LR is THE definitive 3D fighting game. Use Holds at the perfect moment to cripple your opponent, build your Break Gauge and unleash powerful special moves, mash through a Fatal Rush for an easy yet highly satisfying combo, toss your opponent into a Danger Zone to deal extra damage. The Last Round release consolidates the Dead or Alive 6 product line on PlayStation. Core Fighters is available to download now on PS5.
