Dead or Alive 6 Removed From PlayStation Store

Dead or Alive 6 has been removed from the PlayStation Store after Koei Tecmo announced a Steam delisting for June 11, 2026 and released Dead or Alive 6 Last Round.

Dead or Alive 6, the 2019 PS4 fighting game from Koei Tecmo, is no longer available to purchase on the PlayStation Store. Koei Tecmo posted a Steam delisting notice last week that sets a removal date of June 11, 2026 and released an updated edition titled Dead or Alive 6 Last Round.

The Steam announcement did not mention console storefronts. Players discovered this week that the PS4 version had been removed from Sony’s digital store. Koei Tecmo has not provided a public explanation for the PlayStation removal, and it is unclear if or when the Xbox version will be taken down.

Dead or Alive 6 launched in 2019 for consoles and PC after a 2018 arcade debut in Japan. It was the first numbered entry in the series since Dead or Alive 5 in 2012 and received ongoing downloadable content and updates after release.

Dead or Alive 6 Last Round, released this week, bundles the original game’s core roster with five additional DLC characters and new costumes. The game’s official description reads: “Fan-favorite 3D fighting game Dead or Alive 6 is back with stylish moves, striking animations, and a cast of colorful characters to go head-to-head in the fighting game world’s most extreme battles!” A separate line highlights a Photo Mode: “Place, pose, and take picture-perfect screenshots of your favorite characters.”

Players on forums and social feeds flagged the PS Store disappearance after the Steam notice. The Steam post was the only official announcement that included a removal date; no separate notice about PlayStation or Xbox delistings was issued.

The original Dead or Alive 6 is now more than five years old. Koei Tecmo is offering Dead or Alive 6 Last Round as the updated edition that consolidates content from the prior release.
