Deathmaster: Dotemu’s Skaven Stealth game coming to Switch 2

Dotemu revealed Deathmaster for Nintendo Switch 2, a Skaven stealth action platformer starring Ratman assassin Vihneek, due in 2027 at the Warhammer Skulls Showcase.
Dotemu unveiled Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster during the Warhammer Skulls Showcase. The game is a stealth action platformer for Nintendo Switch 2 and is scheduled to arrive in 2027. Players take the role of Vihneek, a hooded Ratman assassin from the Eshin clan.
The announcement included a gameplay trailer that introduces Vihneek’s goal to rise within the Eshin by eliminating rivals and outwitting enemies. The publisher described the protagonist as a “sneaky and brutal assassin” and noted this is the first standalone title in the series to feature Skaven Ratmen as lead characters.
Trailer footage emphasizes stealth, traps and environmental interaction. Players stalk targets from the shadows, set traps, use surroundings to their advantage, and can bypass or kill foes ranging from low-level Skaven to larger rat ogors. The campaign is framed as internal treachery within the Eshin clan and is set in the Age of Sigmar setting where Skaven pursue control of the Mortal Realms.
Visuals shown in the trailer highlight decayed, shadowed environments and a gritty art style intended to convey tension and concealed threats.
Dotemu, whose previous projects include Streets of Rage 4 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, did not disclose the external developer team. The publisher released the first footage to illustrate tone and mechanics rather than a full feature list.
Dotemu did not provide a specific release date beyond 2027, nor did it share technical details such as target resolution or framerate, or confirm platforms beyond the Switch 2. The showcase did not include information on mission structure, progression systems, or multiplayer features.
Also shown at the showcase, Auroch Digital presented a new trailer for Warhammer Survivors, a roguelite. Auroch Digital wrote: “In the latest trailer, Warhammer Survivors’ playable universes (Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar) are consumed by the forces of Chaos in the form of two newly revealed enemy factions: the disgustingly resilient Death Guard and the bloodthirsty and savage Blades of Khorne.” The studio noted additional champions will be available to oppose those factions and a demo for Warhammer Survivors is available on Steam.
Dotemu has provided only initial footage and basic details for Deathmaster and has not announced further information.
