Destiny 2 Legacy Collection Lands on PS Plus Extra

Bungie released its final Destiny 2 content update on June 9, 2026. On the same day, Sony added the 2025 edition of Destiny 2: Legacy Collection to PS Plus Extra as a bonus title outside the service’s regular monthly announcements. The bundle gives subscribers access to the base game and the majority of Destiny 2’s past expansions and seasonal content.

The Legacy Collection includes The Final Shape, Lightfall, The Witch Queen, Beyond Light, Shadowkeep and Forsaken, along with the 30th Anniversary Pack. The package also grants access to several earlier endgame dungeons such as Pit of Heresy, Shattered Throne and Grasp of Avarice, covering the main narrative expansions and high-level PvE content released before 2026.

Two items are not part of the PS Plus Extra package: Edge of Fate and Renegades. Renegades has been described as a Star Wars-themed expansion. Both expansions remain available for separate purchase and were listed on sale at the time the collection went live.

PlayStation users with an active PS Plus Extra subscription can download and play the included content while it remains on the service, without buying the items individually. Sony is expected to confirm the full PS Plus Extra game lineup for July 2026 in a separate announcement.

The Legacy Collection’s appearance on PS Plus Extra coincides with Bungie’s conclusion of active new-content support for Destiny 2, marking the end of new live-service updates from the studio.
