Capcom confirmed Devil May Cry 5 – Devil Hunter Edition will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on June 23, 2026. The company said the port will run at a locked 60 frames per second in both docked and handheld modes and lists Vergil among the playable characters. Pre-orders are open now.

The release was announced during a Nintendo Direct. The Switch 2 edition will let players control Dante, Vergil, Nero and V as they fight waves of demons using the game’s core combat systems. Capcom highlighted performance improvements for the platform and the 60 fps target for both TV and handheld play.

Capcom provided details on extra content included with the Devil Hunter Edition. The package adds additional character color options, new battle music tracks and new devil-breaker weapons for Nero. The publisher described the release as featuring “an array of downloadable content” and noted it includes previously released downloadable items.

In promotional material, Capcom wrote: “Dive head-first into the game’s signature blend of high-octane action and otherworldly original characters – including Dante’s longtime rival and fan-favorite Vergil as a playable character!
