Taiwan’s Digital Game Rating Committee recorded a rating for Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter Edition for the Switch 2 in March 2026. In May 2026 a Swiss retailer listing for a Switch 2 pre-order of the same title was posted online and flagged by community members. The retail entry did not include a release date or price.
The Taiwan record names the title specifically for Switch 2 hardware. Capcom has not issued an official announcement about a Switch 2 version, and no statement accompanied the retail listing.
Devil May Cry 5 originally released in 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. A Special Edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S followed in 2020. The game uses Capcom’s RE Engine.
