Nintendo will run Donkey Kong Bananza’s Rattlin’ Snake Bananza DLC event May 12–19, 2026, adding Snake Bananza and Rattly the Rattesnake statues in the Radiance Layer.
Nintendo announced that Donkey Kong Bananza’s Rattlin’ Snake Bananza DLC event will run from May 12 to May 19, 2026. The event will take place in the game’s Radiance Layer and introduces two collectible statues.
Start times for the event on May 12 are: North America — 1 a.m. PDT / 2 a.m. MDT / 3 a.m. CDT / 4 a.m. EDT; United Kingdom and Ireland — 9 a.m. BST; continental Europe — 10 a.m. CEST / 11 a.m. EEST; Asia and Oceania — 5 p.m. JST / 4 p.m. AWST / 6 p.m. AEST. The universal start time is 8 a.m. Coordinated Universal Time on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
Players must own the Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Island & Emerald Rush DLC to access the event content. The two statues available for collection during the week are Snake Bananza and Rattly the Rattesnake. Nintendo released images showing the event’s placement within the Radiance Layer.
No price changes or new gameplay mechanics were announced alongside the statue additions. After May 19, availability of the statues will depend on future event rotations or developer decisions. Players should ensure the DK Island & Emerald Rush DLC is installed and check the in-game event schedule at the listed start times.
