Duskfade PS5 Demo Hits PlayStation Store, Earns High Ratings

A free demo for Duskfade is available now on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 5. The early build has received almost 200 user ratings on the store, with an average score of 4.7 out of 5.

Weird Beluga Studio developed the clockpunk 3D action-platformer and Fireshine Games is listed as publisher. The game follows protagonist Zirian and his mechanical companion, the Cuckoo, as they try to rescue Zirian’s sister from a Clock Tower that has plunged the land into eternal night.

The demo provides hands-on sections focused on platforming and combat. The PlayStation Store description lists actions such as jumping, dashing, grappling and gliding, and notes the game draws influence from PS2-era action platformers.

The PlayStation Store description reads: “Shatter the shackles of time as you jump, swing, and slash through a fantastic world in this love letter to classic 3D action platformers.” It also states players will “master a seamless blend of dynamic platforming and fast-paced combat. Jump, dash, grapple, and glide your way through thrilling challenges.”

Players can download the demo now and add the full game to their wishlist on the PlayStation Store. The developer and publisher have not announced a release date or confirmed additional platforms.
