EA Sports FC 26 Back at No. 1 as Pragmata Plummets
EA Sports FC 26 reclaimed No.1 on the UK boxed physical games chart this week. Tomodachi Life held at No.2; Pragmata fell from No.10 to No.28.
The weekly UK boxed physical games chart compiled by GfK shows EA Sports FC 26 returning to No. 1 after rising from No. 4 this week. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream held at No. 2 after its April 16 launch. Pragmata dropped from No. 10 to No. 28 despite having sold more than 2 million copies worldwide.
Physical sales for EA Sports FC 26 were split across platforms: PS5 accounted for 36%, Nintendo Switch 27%, PS4 14% and Xbox 12%. Pragmata’s boxed sales were split with 48% on PS5, 33% on Xbox and 19% on Switch 2, with no boxed sales reported for PC.
Other top entries include Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition at No. 4, with 74% of its boxed sales on PS5 and 22% on PC. Mario Kart World and Tekken 8 remained in the top six. Resident Evil Requiem ranked seventh, with boxed sales concentrated on PS5 (63%) and PC (23%).
Nintendo titles populated many chart positions and showed notable splits between the original Switch and Switch 2 hardware. Pokémon Legends: Z-A recorded 58% Switch and 42% Switch 2 boxed sales. Super Mario Bros. Wonder had 62% on Switch and 38% on Switch 2. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild showed 63% of boxed sales on Switch 2 and 37% on Switch.
Saros, a PS5-exclusive title, fell from No. 3 to No. 16. The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature entered the chart at No. 29. Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions reappeared at No. 40, with most physical copies sold on PS5. Grand Theft Auto V and The Witcher III: Wild Hunt GOTY edition remained in the mid-to-lower top 40.
