Elden Ring Tarnished DLC Arrives Aug. 28 for ¥550
Tarnished, a paid DLC pack for Elden Ring, launches Aug. 28, 2026, for 550 yen (about $3.44), adding two classes, four armor sets and new Torrent customizations; Switch 2 bundles it with the base game and Shadow of the Erdtree.
FromSoftware will release the Tarnished DLC Pack for Elden Ring on Aug. 28, 2026. The studio priced the pack at 550 yen, about $3.44, and said it adds two new playable classes, four armor sets and new ways to customize Torrent, the player’s mount.
The studio confirmed the launch date and price in a press release. The release did not list platform-specific prices beyond the 550 yen figure. FromSoftware also shared images of the new armor sets and Torrent customization items on its social channels.
“The Tarnished DLC Pack contains two new classes: the Heavy Knight and the Knight of Ides,” FromSoftware wrote. The announcement added that players will receive four armor sets and options to change Torrent’s appearance.
The Tarnished Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 will bundle the DLC pack with the base game and the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. The paid DLC itself will be available as an add-on for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of Elden Ring.
Elden Ring was released in 2022 and later received the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. The Tarnished DLC Pack focuses on additional class and cosmetic options rather than a separate campaign.
